Hi Peter,

I remember seing your car advertised in Unique Cars, very nice.

I have to agree with Brian on this one, I think you have a dry joint or a cracked circuit board some where. Putting the engine in the sun is heating up the dodgy joint so it expands and makes contact again. Once the engine is running the engine heat keeps the contact closed but once everything cools down the dodgy connection contracts and breaks contact.
