For you statistics freaks like myself, here is the '55-'57 Chevrolet v. Ford production comparisons:

Chevrolet:

1955: 1,714,000
1956: 1,434,000
1957: 1,514,000

Ford:

1955: 1,449,000
1956: 1,426,000
1957: 1,675,000

Looks like the '55 Chev gets top honors for this period.
