Thanks Rick. You're right, I should convert the other cars. After driving the cobra yesterday, I later got in the daily driver, which is an automatic (wife can't drive a sticK), and, as I approached a turn I tried to put the clutch in and reached for the gear shift in an effort to downshift. As you can imagine the left foot went to the floor (didn't hit anything) and thankfully the shifter didn't move out of drive
Luckily the right foot found the brake a split second later.
BTW, did you get your heatshields from Finishline? I may break down and get some. I've already burned myself, which I can tolerate, but I'll never hear the end of it if the wife burns herself
