Well if you can find the casting numbers and date codes that is a good start. If you can remove the head to measure the bore this will give you some clue but with overbore might make it difficult. Also the year and vehicle it's in is a help also. If the engine is out of the car take the oil pan off to get numbers and markings off the crank and rods also. These are a good start. Glenn.
