Default solid cam valve lash 428
Hello, my crower cam recomends .022 in and .024 ex HOT. I set them with engine cold to .024 in .026 ex. think .002 is enough allowance for growth with iron heads? or is there some other reason for hot lash? And I hear that low end torqe is increased when set loose (got plenty low end now) more top end would be nice. Is a typical feeler guage the best way to clearance I have a dial indicator but can't get it to jig up on the head anywhere, know any good tips on (feeling) the valve clearance?
