After doing his research and questioning all of us, he decided to run this style ad in order to enlighten others as he has enlighted me. While a rather unique approach of a comparision, it nonetheless does hit home to many Cobra owners who spend an easy 60K for a replica, bragg about how fast it is and are always are stuck explaining if it is real or fake. In cases common to Club Cobra, we have seen others get themselves killed on the street possibly along with some of their friends.
With the cup car, it is a real car with real history and from what I know, knowone has died in one lately in the historic events even after high speed wrecks.
I own one, it is a safe car. I have the full Nascar road race seat from Butler that costs over $1600 which is included in these cars.
Fast on the street for me had become meaningless because of too many speeding tickets and hearing of those dying in their cars. Let's face it. It's not safe to street race. On the track, you have the opportunity to live out speed to the fullest extent in a setting that is certainly a lot safer than the street.
