Mr. Fixit, some of us do care about emissions. My fuel-injected FE has passed emissions. Time to give a hoot. As for comparisons, comparing 408 cubic inches to 330 cubic inches is just wrong, bad science, unfair, whatever you want to call it, it's just not right.

Comapraing a normally aspirated 408 to a blown 330 is a fair comparison. If anything, the blower motor ought to be ahead. Guys seem to do pretty darn good with blown 302's, and they don't mind beating bigger motors at the track. What emissions standards did your FE pass, 2003? Most cobras don't see 2000 miles a year, even if they are dirty by modern emission standards, their contribution is negligable. If it's "time to give a hoot" than choose your daily driver carefully, it probubly sees a few more miles a year than your cobra.
