Thanks for the suggestions on the Mills book. Is this a good source of info on how the original cars were built, in detail?

I'm getting ready to build a 428, and want to get details on how they came on the factory built cars. I also want to understand the finer details of how the Shelby's were set up from the factory.

The goal? I'm going to start building a 428 in the Winter for a future purchase of a 'glass Shelby Cobra (S. Africa), a Kirkham, or an aluminum Shelby Cobra (note the ascending dollar scale...).

I like the idea of creating a historically correct looking Cobra (I might take a few liberties internally to the 428...). Anyone else out there doing this? What was your source of information for the finer details of your restore/build?
