I've finally had enough of my dial-up connection.
www.netspace.net.au have a $49.95 / month / 1gig package which I think sounds fair.
(What do you think?) You can use it past 1 gig, but you fall back to dial-up speeds. At least this way they don't hit you with an excess useage charge.
Anyway, in the fine print it mentions that a line filter is required for EVERY phone point in the house, and they supply 1 with the setup kit. We have 4 phone points in the house, and that's going to add $100- to the install cost......
Has anyone tried using ADSL without the line filters at each phone?
