sorry for all the unnecessary yelling going on here, no need for you to apologize, your first post was VERY clear...the S&H cleaner and element measures 2 1/4" from top of dome to bottom of carb flange...that does not include about 1/8" of acorn nut above the lid dome or the thickness of the carb flange gasket.
