Yup, yesterday I picked up a hell of a lot of extra ponies with just a little modification.....Are you curious yet??? It's really cool!!! Try making sure your gas pedal travel is sufficient to open the carb all the way up!
DUH!!!! I thought the car had good ooomph, but I wasn't incredibly impressed.....Started thinking about stuff more and just looking at things....I look to make sure that my adjustment on the pedal linkage is correct, and whouldn't you know it, it was catching on top of a piece of my aluminum work as it travelled. From a pedal feel perspective, it felt like I was bottoming out solidly, so I just didn't notice that the lever was catching on it. Oooopss.... Romped on it a little yesterday, and oooooboooooyyyyyy a whole new toy! Was only 3/4 throdle max before.
