AJ, I think you are talking about the bottom channel of a side curtain. If so, that bottom channel is formed from a piece of sheet metal on a brake. It is made into a channel which "leans toward the inside of the car when installed. The channel with the material covering on it is almost exactly 1 inch. You must also know that the three pins which are brazed onto the bottm of the channel are offset toward the inside of the car. They are set all the way to within 1/16" of the inside edge of the channel. Also be aware that these dimensions are what fit an origional car and many replicas but not all! Most can mearly utilize varied pin spacings to achieve fit. Hope this helps and doesnt confuse.
