I use a 12" McLeod Racing clutch (kevlar unit) with a 12" pressure plate as well. I run Racing cobra slicks and hammer my car and never have experienced slip. I'm participating in a drag event on 11/7 so that should tell the story. BTW, thanks for the info regarding starting in 2nd rather thank 1st. I might add that I am using a Richmod gear Race 5sp rather than a toploader - if it matters.
