Mine knows where the spare set are and knows she can drive it anytime she wants. I have no fear of her doing anything stupid, she knows how to control her right foot. It isn't something she really enjoys without power steering and power brakes though. The hardest thing is getting the car seat in for our daughter (who really enjoys tooling around town in it).
