As long as the weather is "good" an original 289 owned by Dick Slater will attend and run the strip at the ACC Nov. 7th event in Commerce. He has never run his car at a strip and looks forward to the experience not to mention allowing us to include an original among our gathering! Keep fingers crossed that I don't lose to a 289!
