Neil: The first year I had automotive style lap belts. Okay for riding around, but if you want to feel in one place 5 point is the way to go. I went with Simpson "y" type with the cam lock. The latch type I thought was a bit uncomfortable, got 'em from Summit 55" Floor Mount, Pull down adjuster Y style #SIM-29107 for $189.95 each, (expensive ) ? Yes, but, Only the best quality for me and my ride.
The real reason I went with a better system was all the accidents last year involving Cobras and I wanted to be safer. Wife doesn't like the shoulder belts, so if it is a local short ride she only uses the lap and submarine belt. Although lately I have been after her to use them all the time like I do.
If you want my one year old standard belts in black I will get them to you for $35.00 including shipping.
Let me know.
Jim
