Notdoneyet,

Don't even bother with him. Several years ago when just I and one other guy here had Cobras in this area he wouldn't even drive in town if I was there. He was obsessed with winning at the car shows and I didn't even enter them, but when I finally asked him about his behavior his reply was " When people see your Cobra, it makes them think and I may lose votes at the shows." I never did understand that as his car was so far superior in looks to mine that even if I had entered a show there was no way I could compete with him. But later when a couple of others here built $100K plus Cobras that really were great for show, he sold his as he couldn't compete. Now we have about 7 in the area and at any one time it is really unusual if more than any two of the people are speaking to the others. So I just go driving and do my own thing like I always have and if anyone wants to talk to me about the car I am happy to talk to them. Just don't worry about him and if he wants to get to know you he will come around on his own.

Ron
