As you noted, this is one of the Brian Angliss "rebodied" 427 UK 70's framed car from a destroyed/totalled original, remanufactured at Surrey in the late 70's according to my notes. The engine, tranny, VIN tag, etc, etc....and on have been replaced or added. Common of a COBRA totally wrecked in the 60's/70's and offered up as a collection of parts. Very few could if the had the extertise to rebuild one without AC Ltd's help.
My file is based on attempted purchase of the "basket case" in '70.
Still it's a COBRA Street 427 that was rebuilt as a SC thru documented parties over the years. It's probably offered at 50k under what it MIGHT bring.
