All legitimate CSX-numbered cars are listed in the Registry, without respect to percentage of original pieces. However, they are noted as such, with respect to crash-and-rebuilds or rebodied cars.

To be considered the actual car in the case of a rebuild, the frame is the determining factor for authenticity... if the rebuild was done on the original frame, it is still considered the same car.

There are a few cases where "parts of the frame" were used as the platform and those circumstances are so noted. Further, the instances where the rebuild began with only a piece of paper are also so noted.
