Jack Tarner, (Tulsa OK.) just built me a standard bore, stroked unit including ported Edelbrock aluminum heads, 1968 "Tunnel Port" (2 four barrel) entake. The motor is now in a 1965 "Cyclone". If it doesn't live up to Mercury standards, I'll put it in my cobra. I had David Kee build a new top-loader and added a Gear Vendors overdrive so I can enjoy the 4:11's in town and relax with 3:25's on the highway. Please find picture attached.

Do you have a special tailshaft for the Gear Vendors? I understand to put that setup in a Cobra would require a special tailshaft because of the driveshaft length. A GV unit would be a sweet ticket in a Cobra.
