I wonder if it would be more efficient with a MAP sensor? I understand that is what the computer uses to determine "engine load". May also be primarily for altitude considerations (barometric calculations?).
What would a guy typically want for accurate injection computer decisions I wonder......
Mass Air Flow sensor for entering air volume.
TPS (throttle position sensor, VERY important)!
The O2 sensors for rich/lean air fuel ratio.
Engine temperature for hot/cold performance.
Crankshaft position (of course)!
I wonder how the combustion chamber temperature is monitored? It seems THAT would control an EGR valve to reduce "peak combustion temperatures" to limit formation of NOX gases.
And how is a "knock" or pre-ignition condition monitored? Which would result in an immediate retard on the timing.
I love this "tech" stuff!
