A little off topic, but one factor in your decision between the Cobra and a Lotus maybe how hard it is to register the Cobra in California.

I know nothing about this, but the question has been raised in a number of forums here at Club Cobra. I can't say whether the issue is a 'new' purchase vs buying an already registered car or if it applies to any sales/registration of a Cobra.

To get back on topic, I put on about 4000 miles/yr here in sunny Cleveland Ohio.
