Can someone explain why Shelby did the viper- was it just for the $$$$ or what? I understand that Ford wanted to compete with the Europe racing and brought Shelby in to make a car- and we can thank him for that- but why the viper? Perhaps they could have brought him in to make a hemi racing truck- it's a good seller. Or maybe they wanted to sell it to people that couldn't build a cobra or what? On the hydrogen idea - it will happen someday. But I hope it sounds the same. Maybe we'll need to install (2) fire extingushers instead of the normal (1)
