I put the @ and the . in ( ) because there are some web crawlers which troll the web looking for email addresses so they can send spam. We get over 300 spam messages a day; it is a real pain in the butt to filter through all of them.
I think some of Pat's email was actually deleted by our spam filter. What a pile of crap program.
