I also looked into this upgrade extensively....but with my limited shop , I did not want to jump into fabricating brackets etc...

what I was able to determine was...Nobody makes anything for s-1 front ends,... the easy solution is to use s-2 or s-3 uprights...then there are several bolt up sets of brakes available..

No, I havnt done either yet.. Seaman , let me know as well...
