There is a large casting boss on the bottom of the 3550 tailhousing that will need to be removed to clear the crossmember
I use a sawzall and cut the boss flush with the bottom of the tailhousing. If you have a standard 3550 the stock 28 spline Mustang driveshaft yoke will fit. If you have a 3550 TKO, you will need a 31 spline yoke
