If someone answers the question "Is it Real?" with a unequivical "Yes", knowing full well he question meant "Is it an Original", they are fibbing.

The question posed wasn't "Is that a Shelby Cobra". I suppose you can answer that one with a quick "Yes" and let it slide.

I have never been asked if mine was real where I thought they wanted to know if it was a CSX4000. Most people don't know about the current Shelby production.

There is nothing wrong in telling the truth and saying, No it is NOT a Real Cobra. It wasn't built in the 60s, but it is a Shelby Cobra that was built two years ago.

You end up in a dialogue, 9 out of 10 times they ask more questions and tell you that they didn't know Shelby was back at building them again, and what they cost and if they are different than the originals etc. etc.

More information is shared and they don't seem to think any less of the car, because it is NOT an original. It is more truthfull that way.

Then again, that is me!!
