Take a look at the Canton unit. It places between the block and the cooler, two lines in, two lines out, block and cooler so the oil bypasses the cooler until temp. is reached then it's allowed through the cooler.
The open temp on the Canton is 210. They seem to feel that the temp needs to be this high to allow outgassing of the contaminants.
Expensive but pretty.
