Hi Mike,
The Tremec tailhousing has a boss on the bottom that will need to be cut off. A Sawzall will do it with ease. If you are going to use a McLeod bellhousing, the 4 front mount holes will need to be opened up to clear the 1/2 bolts the McLeod bellhousing uses. I sell the Tremec all machined to fit the FFR chassis and McLeod bellhousing too. Call me with any questions.

In 1993 Mike made the first conversion of a Ford Tremec to GM 5-speed. It bolts to stock bellhousings w/out an adapter. The FE Tremec, the Mustang adjustable quadrant are originals from Mike.
