And if you're not a regular reader of the ffcobra forum, I'm here to tell you some clever folks over there ("FordFun" was the first, I believe) have actually figured out a way to drop the "perkiness" by changing the body mounting points. So you could make a car to look like the bottom photo. Just add Mike Mack's trunk lid (or SRP could make you one like that), and you'd have a lot of people scratching their head.
