I am using the new Jon Kaase heads in my SPF. They are a stock OEM replacement item so everything works like the original iron heads. Here is the link describing them.

Even though the valves changed positions slightly, there was no need to notch the KB hypereutectic pistons. My Crane hydraulic roller cam has .59 Intake lift and .614 Exhaust lift. I did leave .005 on the deck in case the block ever needs to be decked again. This gave a streetable 9.94 to 1 CR. I went with the 2.25" valves. I also like the fact that the new intake position produces the same HP, but with less advance, thereby reducing the threat of detonation.

The power made by these heads helped Jon Kaase win the engine HP shoot-out against Chevy and Dodge.

There are some pictures in my gallery of the components.
