Muffler does not seems to fit. Maybe you can call it backfire so that if something smells you can blame the dog and say "well I named him right." I don't think it's a SB problem.
Those pipes really make even the best guard dog run and hide. I think Hal has a good dog that is used to the cobra. I always like having a " Real" dog not a yap dog.
