I was a bit concerned about the concequences of getting booked for no cats so I figured them into the design when I built my pipes.

Check out my gallery for pics of my homemade sidepipes with cats. The cats are located into a machined flange and are retained with grub screws so they can't come loose and rattle. They are also easily removed or replaced without major dismantling of the exhaust system.
