I have a 220 mph VDO speedometer. For the first 400 miles it functioned fine but now it will read somewhere between 40 and 80 mph when sitting still and then start working fine when I take off. When I come to a stop or start the car it will pulse back and forth between 40 and 80 mph then do ok when I take off. Any suggestions? Its electronic....bad sensor???? Makes people take a second look when the gauge is jumping up and down at a red light.
