Here's the setup on my car, which has a heater.

Thermostat Housing:

Large Hose to top of radiator
Small Hose to Heater Core

Water Pump:

Large Hose (bottom) from bottom of radiator
Small Hose (upper fitting) return from Heater Core
Small Hose (lower fitting) to bottom of Harrison Tank

Harrison Tank:

Bottom Hose to water pump (lower small fitting)
Top Hose (on tank body) to top of radiator
Pressure Relief Hose (on filler neck) to puke tank or atmosphere

Radiator:

Top Large Hose from Thermostat Housing
Top Small Hose from Harrison Tank
Bottom Large Hose to bottom of Water Pump

Heater Core:

Supply from Thermostat Housing
Return to Water Pump (upper small fitting)
