Default Next step....

Going along with my first thread of creating a reliable, streetable, 550+hp engine, does anyone in the New England, New York area have a recommendation for an experienced FE engine guy that can tweak an existing 428 with low miles?

I'm starting with around 450hp at 10.5:1 compression, a single Holley 750cfm - 4150HP and a mild Isky cam w/ alumn. heads.

I'd like to talk to someone that knows the FE magic to squeeze a little more hp from what I have.

Joe from Danbury Comp. says he put "the good stuff" in this engine build. (i.e Eagle rods, SVO intake, cleaned up the oil passages, etc.) I need to determine if in order to gain any significant hp, it means pulling and tearing apart what I already know runs okay. It might not be worthy of the cost or aggravation.

May be all I need is a little help with tuning the carb. better. It definitely runs on the rich side. My knowledge of tuning a carb couldn't fill a teaspoon.

Is there anyone around the CT area looking into dyno-tuning their cobra? May be we could split the cost for a day with an experienced tech. Just a few ideas to think about until the temps get above the single digits again.

Thanks
