Johan - well spotted. those side vents were part of the "hasty preparations" of No 29 for Le Mans. And they did indeed pre-date the Cobra.
Super-Snake - we aim to please. Now can we Brits please have the visa-waiver scheme back? I kinda like visiting the 'states.
