Default Questions for Classic Revival builders

Hey there everyone.

I have some questions regarding our cars

1: with the lower front control arms was the inner pivot bolt (long one) tight to slide into your chassis? I started fitting mine today and it is very tight, will need to tap with a hammer and twist it to slide it in, Is this normal?

2: How do you get the rear driveshaft off the rear disc/hub assy?
there is a large nut in the centre of disc that holds the driveshaft, my question is before i bend it, how does the lock collar over the nut come off?

3: I need to get my car rolling onto a trailer before the Australia day weekend but I wont have springs and shockies before then, can someone who has a car complete or near complete tell me what the measurement is between the front and rear shockie mount holes (so I can cut some steel and bolt in as a substitute) this question is no biggy as I can drop it onto slave wheels with a jack as support, measure and cut some to suit.

Thanks in advance, David
