Kris, I'd agree with you in the statistics, but more and more folks (I feel) as they have owned a Cobra (usually start out with the 427 SC) revert back to the original lines of the original car, myself included. I think as the market gets flooded with 427 replicas, you'll see more people moving to the 289 car for a unique approach to Cobra envy.
