429 in the future
Just purchased a 1970 thunderbird from my wifes uncle and it has a 78000 mils 429. Will drive it home sunday for 225.00. Want to cut it up for the 429,c6,and the 9 inch. I own an FFR with lotsa goodies but for the powerplant i have a 306 w/fully ported dart heads and a vortech s trim on it. I choose to run a lentech auto with a 3500 converter and 4:10 rears, the car is a blast and wicked fast. I need some input on the 429, this is what i have planned.
full roller motor cam.rockers,lifters,stud girdles,gear drive
stock fully ported heads
10:1 comp forged
probe industries spyder intake EFI
42 lb inj
stock computer for 5.0
Well i think you get the pic, its a nasty one and big $ for me. its gonna take some tome but its my next step for the drug called speed. Im gonna use the aod and the 3500 stall should be wild?
