Keane- In a pressure box/ blown setup you ignore all the fancy math and just size the carb. "in the box" to the same size as if it was non blown. This is because the air flow through the carb. is the same as a normal engine. The difference is that the air going through that carb. is pressurized by the amount of boost you are running in a blow through setup. As for jetting, the rule of thumb is , 4 to 6 steps up usially takes care if it, but you will have to work with the bleeds and should use a non collapsable float. Pretty simple stuff really, and of course, in a Cobra, you will have to do the usial stuff to your carb. to keep it from starving out when going around corners fast.
If you use a down flow blower settup such as a Roots you will have to size the carbs. to the intake air requirments, I.E.-bigger or more carbs. I am running a 1050 dominartor but am thinking if cutting back to a 950 double pumper. Fuel injection woud be nice but a simple carb. does work fine.
