Thumbs up Trans oil cooler for BBF

Hi guys, anyone give me some advice/info on a trans cooler, I am fitting a cooler in the nose of the Cobra, but the lines from the C6 are only about 8mm? and the cooler connections are 5/8 or 3/4 depending on which one I use, just a bit concerned about the difference in size and the plumbing issues, any advice gratefully received, motor is 528 BBF /heavy duty C6. Thanks Dave (UK)

I just went out in the garage. The lines on the transmission cooler on my 1973 vintage Turbo Hydromatic 400 (general motors) were 3/8th inch. Just information - I offer no advice as I did not build my car, however, a trans cooler is a rare application. Good Luck.

I also run a trans cooler on my C6.....and it rarely gets over 150 degrees. I have it mounted flush with the bottom of the radiator facing the front. You should be able to get a reducer with a barbed male nipple end on it. Then run 3/8 ID hose from the tranny lines to the barbed male ends on the cooler.

I use a B&M cooler, so it already had the 3/8 nipples on it.
