Cobra75 Hi Scott I am looking at going with the smaller crane roller cam. The motor I have is going to be a 484 or 496 Shelby I have the second motor due anyday now. 4.25 crank, BB chevy rods 6.70 11.0 compression and retard the cam -4 deg. Ran it on the 2000 dyno on the computor and have a large tork from 2000 rpm to 5000 and hp tops out at 6000 rpm. I have a 6250 chip in the MSD. This is about all the car can handle and still be controllable and fun with a motor that will last a couple of seasons without rebuilding every year. Watch the bearing clearances. I run tight because of that alum motor. Watch the piston to valve clearance with your cam. Let me know which one you buy. Rick Lake
