hal here. Actually, i think my mileage is somewhere between 65-70K, i say think so, because my odo was not working for some months a year ago, and besides, i only recently had the correct speedo gear put in, it was reading about 15% slow.
But my stroked Windsor, has no leaks, doesn't smoke, uses negligible
oil, has the same 8 cylinder compression it did when it was new, no knocks, no rattles, and Lord knows how many times it has run to red line, and been held there.
But i don't push it until it is good and warm, run good
oil, watch my pressures and temps, and frequently change out my fluids.
But the eventual rebuild won't be too expensive, not like one of my friends old 911 motor rebuild. Jeeze, 8 grand for re-build.
Wait till his turbo Porsche needs a rebuild!!
