Although I think the B-J prices for many of the clones of all makes and models were ridiculous, I don't see anything wrong with building them from nice, mostly rust-free 60's cars. The Chevy guys have been doing quite well in the market with such cars for years, and there is an especially good market now. I made a nice small profit on a '69 SS-350 Camaro convertible stock resto., I bought from a guy locally and finished it off.
As long as it's not mis-represented as something it isn't, the demand appears to be there these days, and it's nice way to keep some part of history alive. It funny, but often, it's the "coming of age" generation that develops a passion for the great muscle cars of my teenage generation.
