Not Ranked
Mitty event is car lover's heaven. All kinds of race cars - Bug Eye Sprites, '90s vintage Formula 1 cars and everything in between.
Car corral is good idea. I also think it is key to park as near to the pits as possible. You know how we like to get up close and personal with the "mochinery". Turns 5 and 7 are great but parking not paved ( important for those who love the smell of burning rubber) and it is a hike or a potentially dusty/ muddy ride to the pits.
I bought some sort of ticket (Sat am at the track) that allowed me to do the touring laps Saturday and Sunday. I parked in a large paved area directly across the track from the pits (along the front straightaway) which was also where the touring lap groups formed up.
In summary I would recommed we gather/park in this paved area that has pit access (a foot bridge over the track). Folks that want to see other parts of the track will have that option.
Just my two cents worth. Looking forward to meeting other posters. Working weekends now but this will change in a few weeks.
