I don't know if this will help you. Depends on how stock you want to be. I have a real Boss 302 forged steel crankshaft (DOZE-6303A) which has never been run. The main journals are standard for a 289 or 302 but the previous owner turned the rod journals to Chevy-size 2.100 (small journal) and destroked the crank to 289 specs. With Crower Sportsman rods ($517) you would end up with a "long rod" 289. The rods, according to Crower, are good to 600 HP and I was told by FRPP that this crank is good to 1200 HP. It has been inspected and Magnafluxed by my machine shop. I paid $425 for it but will accept less because I bought a FRPP 345 HP crate motor for a really good price so I'm not going to bother building an engine now. I have pictures. Crank is in Southern NH.
