The seat mount crossmembers are 18.75 inches long. The tunnel and outboard structure widens out to 20 inches at 2 inches above the seat crossmembers.
The real problem is the cockpit opening at the shoulder area. If I recall correctly, the seat cannot be wider than 20 inches at the 19 inch elevaton.
