New guy here again.
Someone help me out understanding the different types of Cobras. I know there are 427's and 289's but what about metal vs fiberglass? Were all the originals metal? What about FIA.....what's that? Were all North American 427's left hand drive? And the paint combos...... that's a whole tread in itself.... Some have full stripes front to back..... others front stripe side to side....yet others front fender stripes....etc.... do these stripes belong on certain models only? I'd hate to build up a 427 and paint it a 289 scheme. Numbers.... are the numbers always located in certain areas such as front hood, door panel etc.... and are the numbers significant? Like in todays racing where everyone wants the number "3".
