When I was autocrossing the "to many turns" lock to lock was killing me! A low speed four wheel drift or the back kicking out at low speed put SO much pressure on the steering system it was incredibly hard to steer OUT of such a manuver. Consequently more than once I almost "hit the wall".
100% for sure I would use sottz method. You want "quick" but you want to tailor the "feedback" for a good road feel. That means being able to adjust the pressure.
I believe FFR spec racers are REQUIRED to run P.S. ?
